The Basic Progress Board of Directors has formal meetings as need dictates, but we are required by the IRS code to have one official meeting per year. At these meetings, the founder, Jay Holland, presents a state of the ministry or executive summary of the current status of Basic Progress. The posted documents pertain to the long term goals and our collective vision for being a diligent agent of grace in the world. They are provided to BP partners as a good faith statement of persistent diligence in staying true to our mission to serve people as a means of permanent positive change for the individual, their families, and society at large. Also included in the archives are other vital documents that speak to critical events in Basic Progress history. It is already more than we could have imagined. Glory be to God!

In reading these documents, keep in mind the historical context of our growing experience as an evolving pastoral organism bathed in prayer and dependent upon God letting us know what to do next. As Basic Progress developed, some externals have accordingly been altered, changed or even deleted. BP phases have been renamed, the target audience is more focused and the nature of the donors and partners is now fully immersed in cultural and ethnic diversity. While we are disciples of Christ, our mission to love God and to love one another may sometimes appear to be compromised. We are Christians, and our public communication is intentional so as to best demonstrate our open and nonjudgmental attitude necessary for being available for public consumption.

Excepting introductory comments, all of these documents are presented in their original form. They are posted here as part of the record of the development and expansion of Basic Progress. These are historical documents; addresses, phone numbers, and contacts may be outdated.
