There are many circumstances, relationships and struggles that seem to require more than prayer and hope. We have all prayed with all the faith we can muster. For the longest time, there are some situations wherein we have hoped until we have grown weary. We just don't know what else to do. Well, Basic Progress was developed with that in mind. What have you been praying for? Who have you been praying for? What ailments or circumstances have not been relieved? What situations are exasperating? Who have you hoped for solutions? Basic Progress is designed not only to help, but to remove them from your prayer list. Wouldn't that be good?

This vital tool for spiritual healing and personal improvement has a remarkable record dealing with even the worst cases in society. Of course, it has also proven to be effective for those of us who have a running head start spiritually! Be in prayer and thoughtful reflection concerning who you might help through BP. Refer them to us. Who do you know who is weary and heavy burdened? It could be a teacher, preacher, spouse aunt, uncle, brother, sister, neighbor, coworker, boss, employee, casual acquaintances --it may be you! There is no shame in taking a vested interest in your own spiritual wellbeing.

The very nature of this type of ministry is that it is not designed for people who have economic resources. That is not to say that wealthy folks are OK, but often one's inability to be disciplined in relationships and employment is clearly indicated in financial chaos. If Basic Progress were to become a fee based organization, many of the people we have helped to become fiscally responsible would have never received any help at all and their children and families would still be dependent on family, friends and maybe your taxable income. BP has proven to be a real cost effective way to not only focus your giving, but the tax break you receive also pays dividends many times over!
